Created for WOMEN. A few years ago, I took my daughter to the park, and I met a beautiful little girl. I gave her a compliment, and she let me know that she is not pretty. I asked myself, “why would she think that about herself at 5 years old?” I realized how much society, and social media are affecting a lot of women including kids about their body image and self-confidence. As human beings, we sometimes make comments around our kids, even if the comment is not directed towards them, those comments we make about ourselves, or others affect our kids how they view themselves. I don’t want my daughter to grow up with low self-esteem because of a body image and/or appearance that is set as an example to idolize these days. I wanted to figure out how to send out a message to women that they are beautiful without any limitations. How to impact them, and their mindset, so that is why I came up with a clothing line, Eli Dotto. Through my clothing line I want to let them know they are beautiful regardless of their skin color, body structure, age, hair color, weight, and what society or people say.
